We're looking for a Toxicologist who will lead development and implementation of the Medical Affairs strategy on Safety side for our prefillable syringes product platform. We specialize in safety systems for pharmaceutical and biotech companies worldwide, driving advancements in healthcare delivery.
Part of the product safety medical affairs department, Toxicologist contributes to the Safety of BD products under ADDS platform and to the risk management starting from the conception phase until the end-of-life cycle sustain a scientific culture focusing on product safety as well as health risk prevention, regarding toxicological evaluation and patient safety.

Your main responsabilities:
Strategic Leadership: Drive Biological Evaluation testing strategy and Toxicological Risk Assessments for our cutting-edge products.Collaboration: Engage with pharmaceutical industry clients, notified bodies, and health authorities on crucial biological evaluation topics.Regulatory Expertise: Lead as a subject matter expert for medical device biological evaluation, contributing to EU MDR remediation.Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to ISO 10993 standards, reviewing and approving plans, reports, and toxicological profiles.Process Enhancement: Contribute to the evolution of our product safety assessment process, sharing toxicological expertise.Mentorship: Provide mentorship on biological evaluation and toxicology to nurture new team members.
Your Profile:
Background: Scientific (PhD, PharmD) with toxicology experience, preferably certified (DABT, ERT).Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 10993, materials regulations, and risk management.Communication Skills: Translate scientific insights into impactful strategic decisions.Attributes: Curious, problem-solving, adaptable, and a strong influencer.Collaboration: Thrive as a team player in a dynamic matrix environment.Customer Focus: Understand and address customer needs for enhanced product safety.Adaptability: Stay agile in response to changing business conditions.Language Skills: Fluent in English; French proficiency is a plus.
