Currently we are looking for a talented Project Engineer/Coordinator for our Las Vegas, NV location.
Daily Tasks/Expected Duties:
Submittals
Request material samples, stock levels and lead times.
Prepare material product data and SDS sheets
Create detailed annotated shop drawings
Submit completed packages to GC
Track package progress until approval; make adjustments if necessary
Ordering all products ready for the project ahead
Create and maintain online Project Job Folders
Keep subfolders organized
Make sure most up to date information (Drawings, Schedules, etc.) is easily accessible and recognizable.
Be able to input data on in-house computer software packages.
Track on-going project changes and update Project Job Folders as needed
Check and diagnose all RFI’s, Revisions, Addendums, ASI’s, etc.
Alert estimating to changes that will have cost implications
Alert field personnel to changes that will impact installation
Create and maintain field personnel project documents for installations
Make sure field supervisors and foreman’s have the most up to date and pertinent information, i.e. plans, installation instructions, etc.
Create and send RFI’s as needed for clarification/missing information
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with construction industry software
Ability to read and comprehend architectural and interior design drawings/blueprints
Strong organizational skills
Able to work independently, maintain focus, and keep on task without constant supervision.
Able to communicate clearly and professionally through all forms of electronic communication as well as face to face (on site if required)
Keep a positive and professional attitude/demeanor with co-workers and clients
Works well under high stress situations while maintaining composure
Knowledge of commercial flooring product lines and general installation practices a plus
Knowledge of floor preparation and job site requirements/OSHA a plus
Compensation
$50,000-$60,000/year salary, based on experience and qualifications
