　　As a Full Stack Engineer, you ’ ll build and release reliable software systems at scale. By partnering with enterprise-wide) teams, you’ll develop and maintain full stack solutions that fit our business needs. You’ll use your holistic view of all products (and their interactions) to design elegant solutions and strategize the future state of our larger technical ecosystem. By independently innovating and advocating for best practices, you’ll solve complex problems and guide the team on implementing solutions from inception to production. Our ServiceNow Application Engineers are part of our ServiceNow Chapter where they learn to develop and grow their skills and talents with other ServiceNow Engineers. Each engineer is assigned to one of our for core product teams: Platform, Automation, SACM/CMDB, CMS, HR, and ITSM/Cyber.

　　Responsibilities

　　Utilizing Discover’s Agile Way of Working, develop and configure solutions within ServiceNow in partnership with your Product Owner

　　Participate in Agile ceremonies related to their product team to ensure the work is getting completed the right way

　　Partners with the Product Owner to define a strategic product roadmap for their technology/business domain

　　Propose opportunities to solve business problems and for process efficiencies using your knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform

　　Actively participate in ServiceNow Engineering Chapter activities and increase the maturity of our Engineering practices

　　Actively engage in our Continuous Professional Education and Discover Technology Academy programs to drive skill and career development spending on average 10% of time on learning, discovery, and innovation

　　Participate in rotating support schedule for Incident Management and general customer service requests

　　Experience developing in ServiceNow modules: Configuration Management Database, Software Asset Configuration Management, Service Mapping, and Integration Hub

　　Completes most features and user stories including test cases and automation unattended

　　Learns more complex software engineering practices such as domain driven design, test driven development, operations, and security

　　Contributes to agile ceremonies, leads demos and presentations, helps new engineers learn established norms, and participates in technology communities

　　Participates in system design decisions and learns how these decisions impact the product as a whole

　　Learns to support production systems and understands how observed events and failures impact the product

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

　　Bachelors – Computer Science or related

　　1+ Years – Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related

　　Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of advanced beginner on the Dreyfus engineering scale

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Bonus Points If You Have:

　　Experience implementing two or more of the following ServiceNow capabilities: Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Vulnerability Management, Configuration Compliance, Threat Intelligence, Service Catalog, Workflow, Integration Hub, Configuration Management, or Service Mapping,

　　Demonstrable experience in setup of ServiceNow integration with SOAP, REST, LDAP, SSO, email, or PowerShell.

　　ServiceNow Certified System Administrator; Certified Application Developer; Certified Implementer; or other ServiceNow Certifications

　　Knowledge of React, Redux, and Java application frameworks

　　Experience building secure web applications with user authentication

　　Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies

　　The base pay for this position generally ranges between $71,500.00 to $121,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
