  Job Description:

  Coordinates the activities of the team daily. Assists with team activities and performance. Acts as a point person for communicating with other teams and customers. Ensures procedures are followed and may lead a small team of IT Operations Specialists.

  Responsibilities

  Ability to understand, manage, and communicate priorities and expectations.

  Review team documentation, procedures and SOP’s and Software announcements for Software Product Releases.

  Work rotating on-call schedule and be available to work after hours and on weekends.

  Ensure procedures are followed and Support System / Network configuration changes.

  Assist in planning and installation of new HP NonStop system platforms as well as updates.

  Research HOT Stuff and SPR’s for potential issues or compatibilities with current environment

  Coordinates activities with systems team, Prognosis team and is point person for communicating with the business partners.

  Open tickets with HP Global Support Center and track progress to find resolution.

  24X7 On Call Support

  Interfacing and assisting Application and Command Center Support teams as needed.

  Participating in Audit Reviews

  Coordinates and collaborates with business partners, SCRUM masters to ensure customer needs are met.

  Complete all security training, read ongoing security-related communications, and acknowledge understanding such communications as requested by Management.

  Provides shift leadership to IT Operations team. Coordinates activities of the team daily. Provides feedback and coaching to team members. Schedules resources as needed for support. Participates in leadership for team activities and performance.

  Authors and reviews SOP’s and system documentation, procedures as required.

  Collaborates with Business and BT partners to ensure internal and external customers’ needs are met.

  Works with Business partners, operations, product/applications teams, and project managers to develop process and procedures for operational readiness.

  Minimum Qualifications

  At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  Associates Degree in Computer Science or related

  6+ years of experience in IT Computer Operations, IT Customer Service or related

  In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in IT Computer Operations, IT Customer Service or related

  Preferred Qualifications

  If we had our say, we’d also look for:

  Bachelor's Degree in Management Information System, Computer Engineering, or related field

  8+ years of experience as Systems Engineer, or related field

  10+ years of Tandem NonStop experience.

  Ability to work without direct supervision.

  Ability to work with HPE Global Support Center and Professional Services team.

  Ability to work within a large enterprise environment and on cross functional teams.

  Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  Advanced troubleshooting ability.

  Ability to work and excel in a fast paced and changing environment

  Compensation:

  The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
