  We are seeking an equally passionate, articulate, and innovative Product Solution Architect (PSA) to join our Provider Data Management team in support of delivering high-quality solutions for Availity's Covered California/Symphony product. This is a highly data driven position so experience with big data, data analysis, data manipulation and the ability to design highly performing data systems is vital to your success in this position.

  Reporting to the Senior Director, Provider Data Management, the PSA's responsibilities include but are not limited to designing high-performing Provider Data Platform solutions in AWS, driving technology adoption, setting direction, and focusing on long-term objectives that drive predictability, efficiency, and reliability, while maintaining an "influencer" mindset as a method of bridging these needs to fruition. Influencing isn't a nefarious activity; it is about meaningfully helping stakeholders reach their objectives while remaining aligned with the company's strategy and creating a multiplier effect.

  You will be responsible for analyzing the current state of our architecture, identifying gaps and opportunities, and developing target state architectures to guide future technology roadmaps. You will also be responsible for defining and communicating architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices. To be successful as a PSA, you must have excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills and a passion to learn and teach. You should also have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  What you will be doing:

  Designing high-performing, scalable and robust Provider Data Platform solutions in AWSDocumenting architecture designs, patterns and technical solutions in ConfluenceDeveloping and maintaining product architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and best practicesAnalyzing the current state of our architecture, identifying gaps and opportunities, and developing target state architecturesDefining and communicating the product architecture roadmap, and ensuring that it aligns with the business objectivesProviding guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring that they follow the architecture standards and guidelinesServing as an architecture conduit for external requests and queries and providing education on product and enterprise architecture directions and goalsWorking with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needsCollaborating with other architects and technology leaders to ensure that our architecture is integrated and aligned with other systems and applicationsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT leaders, and external partnersLeading technical discussions and building consensus among engineersSupporting engineering and architecture efforts for number of high visibility programsParticipating in all architecture and design decisions, and conducting documentation review and approval processesInteracting with business strategists, comprehending design impact on systems, and developing measurable business cases that support architecture

  Requirements:

  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience8+ years of technology experience in business system analysis, designing products and features, and supporting all aspects of required technical documentation3+ years of experience architecting solutions in AWS cloud environment 4+ years of experience analyzing and proposing target state architecturePrior experience in modernizing legacy applications, performance tuning, conducting cost benefit, risk analysis etc.Experience in AWS managed services like DynamoDB, S3, Postgres SQL, EKS, Amazon Kafka (MSK) etc. Good knowledge and hands-on experience with API security standards like OAuth, SAML, and 2way SSLExperience in REST API's using Java/EE, Spring/Spring Boot, Spring Cloud etc.Experience using container technologies: Kubernetes based container technologies like OpenShift and AWS EKSKnowledge and experience with CI/CD tools, frameworks, and methodologiesExperience working in an agile work environmentExperience developing technical documentation to support solution architecture and designs, documenting all architecture and design decisionsWorking experience with Product and Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, and defining Technology Roadmaps Excellent writing skills and a strong ability to grasp technical conceptsAWS Architect Certifications are highly preferred Healthcare experience working on Provider data is highly preferred
