Summary:
As a contributing Foodservice Sales team member, the Associate SalesAccount Manager will report directly to
the
Foodservice Sales Team Leader. The position will have regularinteractions with the Director, Team Leader, and other TMs, whilefocusing on cultivating relationships and growing business with assigneddistributor and/or operator accounts. This person will be accountablefor building relationships, providing solutions to customers, sellingincremental items, negotiating pricing/programs and prioritizing effortsagainst market plans. This position is expected to work crossfunctionally with various business units and trade teams to grow newbusiness, protect the core and create a competitive advantage whileattaining mix and volume targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and/or cultivate professional relationships withidentified and targeted accounts within the market/geography toachieve business objectives.
Gather, create, and maintain key insights for all assignedaccounts including key contacts, correspondence, size of business,product/category risks & opportunities, competitive set, customergoals and strategies.
Maintain and track progress against opportunities using the CRMtool to ensure that all applicable parties are aware of status.
Execute and manage all strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with Sales Development Business Units and Trade teamsas needed to deliver and/or exceed sales plans by managing marketingprograms, expense management and deduction resolution (asappropriate).
Provide customer sales support for market events, meetings,presentations, product samplings and local trade shows.
{=html}<>- Prepare business reviews and conduct customer presentations.
Achieve volume goals and maintain a robust opportunity pipelinefor continued market growth.Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years outside sales experience in FoodService, Manufacturing, or Distributor Sales.
Education: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
Special Skills: Foodservice industry knowledge, strategicthinking, planning, negotiation skills, event planning execution
Computer Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Travel: Up to 50% travel within local market. Possibility oflimited overnight travel.
This TM will need to be located in the Chicagoland Market or stateof Wisconsin
