JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Millwright Maintenance worker supports maintenanceneeds of the plant building, equipment, and grounds. He or she will planand perform operations to rig, move, install, and erect heavy dutymachinery, precision machine tools and other equipment and facilities,and maintenance work on buildings, structures, facilities, etc. Also,plan oversee and engage in building repairs and alterations; repair andmaintain the heating, piping, plumbing and sprinkler systems; domasonry, concrete and sheet metal repair work as assigned. Diagnosemachine and equipment malfunctions and disassemble, repair, andreassemble units. Rebuild or overhaul machines and equipment. Plan workprojects, requisition materials, oversee contract work such asconstruction or remodeling of new and existing buildings and structures,installation and repair of facilities and utilities, etc. Requireseducation equivalent to vocational or high school graduate pluscompletion of a formal accredited Journeyman apprenticeship or anequivalent trades training program. Up to three years of diversifiedexperience required to acquire sufficient millwrighting and riggingbackground to perform work. In addition to the ability to read, analyze,and interpret general technical periodicals, blueprints, schematics,drawings, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Requires ageneral knowledge of and ability to use computers and operate a varietyof small hand tools and precision measuring devices as well as a generalunderstanding of machining equipment and practices. Must have theability to drive a forklift, training and certification will beprovided. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move parts andtools weighing up to 50 pounds. *We guarantee new hires get 3 payincreases in the first two years for hourly positions.
