　　We are currently seeking applicants for a Journeyman Welder/Mechanic in the Mechanical Maintenance department of our Power Productions division located the Thomas Hill facility in Clifton Hill, MO.

　　Journeyman Welder/Mechanics are responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment and structures in and around the power plant including but not limited to generators, compressors, pumps, fans, vehicles, tractors, all coal handing equipment, valves, and piping. Maintenance includes the repair of failures, rigging, welding, piping, lubricating, insulating, and any other work to assure proper operation and appearance of equipment, structures, and grounds. This position is required to read and interpret prints, sketches, and technical manuals; use necessary hand tools, miscellaneous equipment, handheld technology, and work from heights.

　　Requirements and Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or GED required.Minimum of five year's experience in heavy industrial mechanical repair with two of those years working as a certified high-pressure welder.Must possess knowledge of ASME boiler and pressure vessel code welding practice and procedures as well as, the knowledge of welding equipment operation.Successfully complete the established AECI welding test(s) pre- and post-hire; obtain passing result from the applicable pre-employment test(s).Basic computer skills required.As an employer of choice and a certified Great Place to Work, Associated provides employees competitive compensation, 401k with an employer match, health, paid disability leave and other benefits.
