Relocation: Nationwide relocation assistance isavailable #LI-Remote Summary: The Demand Planner generates and maintainsforecast models for finished goods, as well as incorporating businessintelligence and analytics collected from other areas such as Sales,Sales History, Marketing and Development. Essential Functions: Serves asprimary resource for generating a consensus demand plan for all finishedgoods resulting in an effective forecast based on industry trends, saleshistory, and demand patterns. Provides forecasts to cross-functionalteams; used as an input to production planning and inventory managementand improvement of service levels. Evaluates and analyzes forecastaccuracy and forecast bias, to enable coordinating cross-functionalresearch activities to reconcile significant variances, as well asinteracting with sales to understand demand forecast drivers.Collaborates with internal business partners on product portfoliomanagement, overseeing production lifecycle, beginning with theintroduction of a new product to its end-of-life planning, includingproper maintenance of the master data throughout the product\'slifecycle. Serves as the subject matter expert in performing ad-hocforecasting data analysis and reporting, including weekly and monthlyreports to upper management and cross-functional teams and developmentof reports as the business requires. Required Qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field OR fiveplus years of Supply Chain Planning experience. 1-5 years of progressiveexperience in Supply Chain Planning Cross-functional collaborationskills SAP experience; SAP S4, SAP IBP or other ERP systems Proficientin MS Office Suite, Advanced Excel Ability to work independently and ina team environment with all levels of the company Strong analytical andcritical thinking skills, attention to detail Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor\'s degree Experience in a manufacturing and/or food processingenvironment Strong SAP experience; focus on planning SupervisoryResponsibility: No supervisory responsibilities required.
