Valley Medical Group is looking for a MedicalAssistant to join our Endoscopy team and work in our Ambulatory Surgeryand Procedure Center located at our Amherst Medical Center. If you arelooking for a dynamic environment, this is your opportunity! Hours: 32hours, 4 days/ week, generally between 7:30am-4:00pm. Hours may varydepending on department needs. As a Medical Assistant in the AmbulatorySurgery and Procedures Center Endoscopy Suite, you will be part of ourclinical team responsible for preparing equipment and procedure roomsaccording to established protocols and assisting the physician and RN inthe implementation of the established plan of care and during diagnosticand therapeutic procedures. Job Responsibilities: Greet and preparepatients for assigned procedures Complete vital signs for patientsPreparation of equipment, including endoscope cleaning, and procedureroom according to established protocols Maintain the pre- andpost-procedure patient care area Accurate documentation in the EMRRequired Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent Successfulcompletion of an approved Medical Assistant program and/or active EMT orCNA license.
