Marginal Rd. in Cleveland. This position is a minimum of four-year training program to become a Tool Maker. At the end of the training, the Tool Maker Apprentice will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and fine-tuning injection molds and learning how to perform advanced specialty operations.Howmet Engines is a world-class producer of aero engine and industrial gas turbine components, including airfoils, rings, disks and forgings. We excel in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts that enable the next generation of quieter, more fuel-efficient aero engines and cleaner power generation.Job Responsibilities

　　Acquire the following skills through a structured four-year apprenticeship format that includes a combination of On-The-Job Training (OJT) and Related Instruction.Complete 8000 Apprenticeship Hours, 600 of which to be completed at the Community College in Manufacturing Machine TechnologyPerform specialty operations as requested by Tool & Diemaker and tool managementPerform EDM, Bridgeport, grinding, polishing, etc.Help fine-tune molds based on feedback from Tool & DiemakerRepair molds based on feedback from Tool & DiemakerChange mold versionsPerform 5S Housekeeping, keep machine centers and personal tools orderlyNotify supervisor or manager of any materials or tools requiredParticipate in corrective / preventive action reviews (assist production in troubleshooting)Job SpecificationsBasic Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.

　　Minimum of 1-year manufacturing / industrial experience, or successful completion of an accredited machine trade curriculum(ex. Polaris Vocational School or Cuyahoga Community College machining certificate, etc..) or 4 semesters of training and basic manual machine training(ex.
