Primary Job Functions:
Planning for domestic, institution, Physician samples, exports as per the customer service levels . RM / PM planning for LL Plan / Monitor imported API & FG from Abbott Affiliate. Identify potential risk and oportunities in forecast and flag up situations and potential solutions Coordinate for weekly SARM remarks. Inventory simulation on weekly basis to anticipate future stock outs with the basis of demand and deriving an action plan. Responsible for Data Analytics such as Sales support, Sales Loss, Anticipating future stock outs. Drive the Operations S & OP to highlight short term/long term challenges to the business and mitigation plans . Ensure adherance to KPI and Inventory norms Timely RLBE and Annual budget submissions to enable capacity planning, business continuity Adhere to Audit / Regulatory & Quality requirements and timely respond on any observations. Resolve audit queries and prepare CAPA plan for closure against audit observations to ensure statutory and Abbott process compliance. Continuous improvement initiatives and other cross functional projects Control and minimize near expiry by managing inventory and control DOH Planning for MRP increase maximization and other events Delivering pack changes/formulation changes to meet the market demand In transit stock monitoring and ensuring that it reaches in committed timelines. Escalate exceptions to the transporter. Export support to Monthly Supply Review with commercial to primarily discuss stock status and related activities (lean inventory, Near expiry, MRP increase, Forecast accuracy, SLOB etc.) and action it based on decisions taken Collaborate with different stakeholders in EPO/QA/RA and ensure that queries of commercial colleagues are addressed immediately. Support in planning for Dual sourcing, TP site rationalization, Externalization/Internalization of SKU’s from In house plants Lead / Support Projects
Critical Attributes:
SAP PP-DRP, SAP – APO, Good MS-Office knowledge, Presentation skills, stakeholder management.
Education & experience:
Graduate in any discipline, MBA
2 to 3 years’ experience in Supply planning and prior experience in using SAP-APO will be preferred. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI etc.
Knowledge
Domain knowledge such as Indian pharmaceutical market (key competitors, growth, trends etc.), master scheduling, materials planning, capacity planning, vendor scheduling, OTIF parameters, supply chain risks, forecasting, logistics & distribution, methodologies and framework - Total Quality Management, Lean manufacturing and theory of constraints etc. Enterprise technology modules - SAP - MM, PP, APO, ECC Regulatory- pharma regulations, taxation laws, export related requirements Abbott knowledge such as organization structure, key products, SOPs related to procurement, S&OP process etc. Technical areas such as overview of formulations across dosage forms, raw materials like APIs, excipients, controlled substances, packaging formats and materials
