QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringAbility to demonstrate and maintain a good safety recordValid Drivers License and satisfactory driving recordAbility to complete on-call after-hours duties, periodically, for one week at a time; this requires the individual to reside in the greater metro area; includes response to emergency situations and calling personnel out for after-hours activitiesAbility to lift and carry office supplies up to 35 poundsAbility to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background checkAbility to obtain a Professional Engineer's License is preferredWorking knowledge and experience in construction and design preferredExperience with SAP, line design and DDS preferredKnowledge of International Fuel Gas Code, NESC, NEC, and the DOT. Part 191 and 192 preferredGeneral understanding of survey and inspection techniques and microprocessor-based equipment preferredDUTIES INCLUDE:
Provide engineering support for gas and electric growth, expansion projects, extensions, rebuilds, relocations, and assist with operating electric and natural gas utilitiesDesign electric and/or natural gas facilities following the Capital Business ProcessesSupervise projects and oversee contract and company construction crewsPerform computer related functions such as engineering analysis, drawing, spreadsheets, and database compilationsCompile and write technical reportsRespond to customers' needs by performing field investigationsSurvey and inspect routesEnsure that cost estimates meet company standards and current tariffsAssist to develop project-specific capital budgetsAssist and closely work with Division operationsAdhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct EthicsEnsure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectivesFull-time position.
$62,900 - $135,200 annually, depending on experience.
