Job Description:

　　A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced Regional Credit & Collection Specialist

　　to join Boart Longyear’s Finance Team.

　　Based in Adelaide and reporting to the Global Credit and Collections Manager, the purpose of this role is to assess customers for credit worthiness, ensure they are paying within their set credit terms and manage the cash position of the company. Furthermore, this role will hold full responsibility for AR duties for the region.

　　Want to know a little more about the role? Day-to-day responsibilities include:

　　Accounts Receivable – Assess new customers for credit worthiness as well as existing customers who request additional credit / changes to credit terms;

　　Cash Management – Manage the company’s bank accounts and ensure the company has sufficient cash to meet its obligations to employees, suppliers, ATO, etc and complete daily cash tracking and fortnightly cash reporting to our US head office;

　　Borrowing Base Reporting – Deliver monthly reporting on working capital levels to Head Office in the US, as well lead the half-yearly audit of these balances by the key Corporate banking partner.

　　The successful applicant for this role will have 3 - 5 years’ work experience in a similar role and relevant qualifications. In addition, it is essential to develop and maintain strong working relationships within the Finance Team and across Boart Longyear departments.

　　Highly developed written and verbal communication skills;

　　Strong working knowledge of Oracle, particularly the Accounts Receivable module;

　　Strong Microsoft Suite application proficiency (in particular Excel);

　　A results and customer service focus at all times;

　　Flexibility and adaptability to changing business requirements;

　　Team player.
