  Job Duties and Responsibilities

  DISH Wireless is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled professional to join our team as the Field Engineering Operations Manager . In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in the integration readiness, site security, and network operational aspects of the radio network for DISH Wireless. As the Operations Manager, you will harness your profound knowledge of market operational requirements to keep management informed about ongoing needs. Your accountability extends to the network's in-service metrics and ensuring accessibility for DISH customers.

  A key aspect of your role will involve the effective management of field engineers and operational staff across designated markets. Your responsibility extends to ensuring that supporting vendors are well-prepared to respond in the event of a network incident. Proficiency in enforcing approved operational policies and processes within the market team, identifying and addressing gaps, and elevating concerns to Regional and National Operations is essential.

  Furthermore, your expertise will be crucial in guiding the team through the implementation of Methods of Procedures (MOPs) related to site integration. As an integral member of our team, you will actively participate in discussions at both the Regional and National levels, contributing insights and identifying opportunities for process improvement.   Key Responsibilities:

  Accountable for integration readiness, site security, and operational aspects of the radio network

  Utilize strong knowledge of market operational requirements to inform management about ongoing needs

  Ensure the network's in-service metrics meet high standards and guarantee accessibility for DISH customers

  Manage and lead field engineers and operational staff across designated markets

  Oversee and ensure the preparedness of supporting vendors in the event of a network incident

  Enforce approved operational policies and processes within the market team

  Identify and address gaps in operational procedures and escalate concerns to Regional and National Operations

  Guide the team in reviewing and implementing Methods of Procedures (MOPs) related to site integration

  Actively participate in discussions at the Regional and National levels, contributing to process improvement opportunities

  Skills, Experience and Requirements

  Education and Experience:

  Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  5+ years in progressively broader management roles, managing multiple groups, departments, and teams

  Skills and Qualifications:

  The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with significant ambiguity and challenges inherent in building a greenfield, stand-alone 5G network

  Wireless Network Operations experience, especially in wireless infrastructure and large-scale programs

  Executive presence with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

  Ability to travel up to 75% domestically

  Must be able to work nonstandard hours to support business needs

  Proficient in directing project and team meetings, setting priorities and agendas as required

  Proficient in monitoring employee performance, coaching, and providing feedback oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and information to all levels of the organization

  Salary Ranges

  Compensation: $96,543.00/Year - $137,885.00/Year

  The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.

  This will be posted for a minimum of 3 days or until the position is filled.
