What’s a typical day as a IT Support Specialist like? You will:
Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation (Atrust/GateKeeper).
Provides answers to clients by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding clients through corrective steps.
Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
Accommodates client disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
Improves system performance or process flow by identifying problems and recommending changes.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
Assists with organizing and delivering IT equipment to users upon requests.
Inspects printers and refill paper as necessary. Need to coordinate with the vendor to repair the printer if it is not functioning properly.
Assists users in conducting initial virus scanning using TSMC's authorized antivirus software.
Provides on-site services (other building across TSMC campus) as needed to assist users in handling problems.
Deploy the TSMC image onto IT equipment (PC/NB/Phone) and deliver them to employees upon requests.
Request repairs and maintenances for PC/NB/phones from the vendor. If necessary, bring or mail the devices to the vendor's repair center.
This might be an outstanding fit if you:
Hold an Associates or Bachelor in a related field is preferred)- Diploma or GED required.
1- 2 years of applicable working experience is a plus but not required.
Self-motivated and have strong work ethics to complete tasks.
Adhere to stringent schedules.
Work independently and efficiently after adequate training
Take initiative to seek guidance when undertaking unfamiliar challenges.
Be able to communicate effectively with ANY team member remotely or in-person to escalate resource conflicts, update progress, and summarize conclusions.
