Job Title: Warehouse Operator - Night Shift $20-$23/hr

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team within a larger manufacturing facility. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical in maintaining an organized, smooth, and safe warehouse operation, contributing to the overall success of our team. Candidates must meet high production goals with a two-hour lead time on all materials needed for the production floor.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.

Support both pre-pack and final pack operations.

Balance multiple processes to support overall system efficiency.

Work 50% of the shift operating forklifts and the remaining time walking, cleaning, material handling by hand, and performing other duties as assigned.

Work on a 3,2,2,3 type of schedule in a 24/7 operation.

Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3 years of experience in storage processes and support to production areas.

Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience, preferably with stand-up forklifts and electric-powered (not gas).

Forklift certification verified through references.

Experience using a warehouse management system.

Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain production metrics and standards.

Additional Skills Qualifications

Experience with quality control, quality assurance, quality checks, and inventory control.

Experience with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and shipping and receiving.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.

No large unexplained gaps in employment for 1-2 years.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean, state-of-the-art facility with smaller aisles (around 12 feet). The facility is climate-controlled and includes a locker room with lockers (cell phones must be kept in lockers or cars, not allowed on the production floor). There is also a canteen/breakroom with food and drink machines. New hires start at the entry level and are assigned equipment based on availability and their ability to learn the warehouse systems and procedures. The work environment encourages continuous learning and progression, with opportunities to operate advanced equipment as skills develop.

The pay range for this position is $23.10 - $23.10
