Test Automation Engineer (SDET)

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our Shop 2.0 Product Engineering Team. You will work alongside a dedicated team of engineers to drive out bugs, prevent regressions, maintain a test framework and write end-to-end tests for our applications. The ideal Test Automation Engineer (SDET) will be:
A self-starter with thorough attention to detail
A good communicator
Proactive in meetings
Able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
Interested in growing as an engineer, working on a cross-functional Agile Scrum team
Willing and able to build a deep understanding of Unicity’s business rules, distributor compensation structures, organizational complexities, etc.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Perform manual testing, integration testing, regression testing, and acceptance testing
Automate everything you do on a regular basis
Create scripts to generate test data to ensure consistent and comprehensive coverage of edge cases
Develop automation scenarios and scripts for testing code and infrastructure
Keep tests up to date as new features are added
Collect, analyze, and interpret test and quality assurance metrics
Assist with CI / CD pipeline for mobile apps
Requirements / Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred (but not required)
Ability to create a well-written bug report
Solid understanding of both test engineering and development principles
2+ years working as an Test Automation Engineer / SDET
Experience with manual testing and has a good eye for detail
Experience with payments
Proficient at coding in JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with Playwright or Cypress
Experience with Browserstack or SauceLabs
Experience with using testing software and test harnesses
Familiar with both closed-box and open-box testing
Experience with API development and tools (e.g. Postman)
