  What You'll Do

  Enterprise Business Solutions is looking for a transformational software engineering leader to lead our Global Risk portfolio. In this role, you’ll provide formal leadership, coaching, and mentorship along with contributing to the upcoming transformation efforts. We are focusing on modernizing our platform, migrating to AWS, and enabling data for decision making. Can you inspire others and get results?

  You’ll have the opportunity to:

  Be a key player as we implement solutions to expand our business functions (think configuration, security, integration, cloud/SaaS, vendor interaction, etc.)

  Collaborate with business partners and cross-discipline IT team members. Innovate and experiment with different ideas and solutions.

  Understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and trade-offs. Demonstrate independence working in more than one software development layer of the solution.

  Mentor and lead staff in support of their continued growth.

  Partner with our business to understand their strategic goals and work to apply technical solutions that align.

  Who You Are

  Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience

  6+ years of technology and/or engineering experience

  While no formal staff leadership experience is required, the skills for coaching and enabling engineering teams and individuals is critical

  Desire to learn new technology and motivate others to do the same.

  Wide experience with a diverse set of technologies and software modernization techniques, approaches, tools, etc.

  Exceptional verbal/written communication and facilitation/presentation skills

  Ability to work with multi-functional teams and collaborate with both It and non-IT partners at all levels

  Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

  Hands on experience working with AWS and Snowflake

  Vendor Application integration knowledge

  Salary Range Information

  Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

  Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

  $112000 - $167000 / year

  Time Off Program

  Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

  Hours

  This role will partner with our global teams and will have an expectation for occasional flexibility in your work schedule.

  Work Environments

  This role offers the ability for in-office and hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements in Des Moines, IA location. There is an expectation for this role to work on site at least 3 days a week.

  Job Level

  We’ll consider talent at the next level (Sr Software Engineer II) with the right experiences and skills.
