  Telecommute Option - Must reside in ID, OR, UT or WA

  WHO WE NEED

  The Payment Integrity Research Consultant (all levels) provides theorganization with business intelligence for relevant business needs toassist with the development of business strategy. The three major areasof intelligence focus are: market intelligence, competitive intelligenceand consumer intelligence/research. The business intelligence functionanalyzes and models competitor and market data in order to providerecommendations to the organization to reduce the risk of businessdecisions and contribute to the attainment of Cambia goals andobjectives.

  Normally to be proficient in the competencies listed below:

  Payment Integrity Research Consultant II:

  Bachelor\'s Degree in Economics, Marketing, and/or Business

  Minimum of three years of experience in analytic disciplinessuch as competitive analysis, market research, industry trends, datamodeling, and trend analysis is required.

  Payment Integrity Research Consultant III:

  Bachelor\'s Degree in Economics, Marketing, and/or Business

  Minimum of five years of experience in analytic disciplines suchas competitive analysis, market research, industry trends, datamodeling, and trend analysis is required.

  Payment Integrity Research Consultant IV:

  Bachelor\'s Degree in Economics, Marketing, and/or Business

  Seven years of experience in analytic disciplines such ascompetitive analysis, market research, industry trends, datamodeling, and trend analysis or equivalent combination of educationand job related experience.

  YOUR ROLE:

  Payment Integrity Research Consultant II & III:

  Complies with the SCIP code of ethics for competitive intelligencegathering.Compile and consolidate competitors market information.Communicate with other departments to ensure an effective flow ofinformation to and from the Strategic Market Insights function.Communicate results to project owners, providing advice on action(s)to be taken.Responds to ad-hoc requests.Work with customer survey instruments and provide analysis ofcustomer survey results.Provide competitor and/or product and market data to improve companydecisions and operations.Manipulate on-line databases, extract information or data from saleschannels and develop insights from the information.Analyze intelligence on competitor value propositions and sources ofdistinctiveness including new competitive formats and offers.Analyze and identify consumer trends and shifts in consumerspreferences, attitudes and perceptions utilizing a broad set ofresources, including secondary research with internal/externalsources.Develop and grow relationships with external business partners forthe purpose of competitive and market intelligence gathering.Lead projects and coordinate project activities for team members.Operates without day-to-day formal guidance.Works with other Marketing staff to help align the interests andgoals of the Marketing Division with corporate business partners.Additional for Research Consultant IV Level

  Provide relevant and timely reports to appropriate internalaudiences on industry trends and business drivers to determineCambia\'s positioning vs. competitors.Responsibilities include the aid and development of customer surveyinstruments; analysis of customer survey results; new market andcustomer acquisition research; design of new customer analytics;design of competitive intelligence systemRecommend approaches to define the market and met odologies, andidentify gaps and key areas for Cambia to pursue.Perform functions relating to strategy formulation, competitiveintelligence, new concept development, strategy planning, andanalyze, filter, and categorize large amounts of inconsistent dataresulting in synthesis and characterization of information thathighlights important points and emphasizes key issues.Process complex time sensitive data and information from multiplesources, make decisions based on this data, and effectivelycommunicate the related required actions to a broad audience.Deal with ambiguity and quickly provide sound decisions andrecommendations with less than complete information.Develop intelligence on competitor value propositions and sources ofdistinctiveness including new competitive formats and offers.Mentors other analysts to further information gathering andanalytical skill development.WHAT YOU BRING:
