JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary The Project Beyond Sanitation Worker willplay a key role cleaning production equipment, machines, and work areas.Responsibilities will include handling and preparing cleaning chemicals,preparing sanitizers, preparing chemical concentrations, handling, andstoring the chemicals, and managing chemical accidents, dry clean-up anddisposing of waste. Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Clean andsanitize the plant to meet quality and bacterial standards imposed byplant standards. Completely sanitize the plant effectively andefficiently. Some after-construction detail cleaning will also berequired. Work in an environment that is wet, humid, and undergoesextreme temperature changes. Work around large processing equipmentwhere chemicals are used to complete the sanitation process. Must beable to work as a team along with other members of the crew, understressful conditions, and be flexible and willing to perform varyingtasks per the supervisor\'s instructions and in accordance with allsafety guidelines mandated by the employer. Lift/ move hoses, equipment,and chemical containers weighing 20-80 lbs. throughout every work shift.Assist in transporting heavy equipment with forklifts or other devices.Wear employer-specified protective gear. Exposure to chemical cleaningsolutions (with protective gear). Perform varying tasks while standing,lifting, crouching, etc. during extended periods of time. Perform alltasks safely and in a manner that will not create or pose any danger toself or others. The position will require a scissor lift certification.Other Job Duties: High Lift certification will be required Ability touse power equipment as required (i.e Backpack vacuums, floor scrubbersand steam cleaner.) Wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) asrequired for chemical use Work around cleaning chemicals Will requireextended periods on lifts and ladders. Will require work in aconstruction zone at times. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities(Competencies) High school diploma or equivalent schooling. Goodpaperwork/ documentation skills. Ability to read, write and comprehenddocuments relating to the job. Effectively communicate with individualsof all levels, both internally and externally. Ability to workeffectively, courteously, and respectively with other employees.Physical Requirements Physically capable of performing all requiredduties including heavy lifting.
