  MaximHealthcare Staffing is looking for a Long-Term Acute Care Nurse to provideplanning and delivery of direct or indirect patient care to medically complexpatients.

  MaximHealthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled LTAC RN in Tucson, AZ

  PositionDetails:

  · Contract Length: 13 Weeks

  · Number of Openings: 3

  · Shift Length: 36 hours

  · Shifts: 3 Nights

  · Start Date: 2/5/2024

  Compensation:

  Travel Pay Package: $2,296

  Pay Rate: $28

  OT Rate: $56

  Meals: $448

  Lodging: $840

  *Based upon qualifying forposition and allowances. Total package is inclusive of taxable wages and

  Allowances.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care

  Responsible for providing care to medically complex patients

  Supervises care, treatment, and services of the patient(s)

  Documents the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnosis, expected patient outcomes and selected nursing interventions

  Maintains confidentiality at all times with patients, medical staff and co-workers

  Provides a safe, comfortable and therapeutic patient environment

  Experience in acute rehabilitation for vents, wound care, cardiac, stable post trauma patients

  Adheres to and supports the policies/procedures/goals/objectives of the hospital in an attempt to provide quality patient care Revises plan of care according to evaluation, changes in medical plan of care and nursing interventions

  Performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard

  Identifies and prioritizes actions based upon patient care requirements

  Supports professional practice by observing the following: Uses knowledge and practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act; Joint Commission, state and local laws; and Patient’s Bill of Rights hospital policies

  Performs other duties as assigned/necessary

  MinimumRequirements

  Current nursing license for the state in which the nurse practices

  One (1) year nursing experience in a long term acute care facility preferred

  Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required

  Computer proficiency required

  Certifications in BLS, and ACLS,

  Must have experience in PCU and or ICU
