About the Opportunity
As a Project Procurement Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement activities within a specific project with the primary focus on acquiring goods, services, or works needed for the successful completion of the project, ensuring that the procurement process is efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant regulations and policies. This role sits within the Integrated Solutions International business unit. What you’ll be doing
Leading the procurement team, reporting directly to the Project Director, and provide expert guidance to ensure project success.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with client teams and business units, fostering good procurement management practices.
Ensuring strict adherence to Financial Regulations, Procurement & Contract Management Strategy, and relevant legislation, including EU regulations.
Leading, managing, and recruiting top-notch procurement experts, setting objectives and monitoring progress to achieve project goals.
Supporting the Project Director in developing and delivering service and action plans aligned with client priorities.
Utilising contract performance data to identify areas of improvement, implementing KPIs, and SLAs for effective contract management.
Assisting in periodic reviews of the Procurement Strategy and contribute to the development of procurement and contract management policies.
Collaborating with stakeholders to implement sustainable procurement practices and support internal and government initiatives.
Developing and implementing a Supplier Engagement Strategy, ensuring commercial value and performance consistency with project objectives.
Evaluating and mitigating risks in supplier/contractor work packages, challenging costs and invoices to enhance project efficiency.
As a responsible manager, prioritising health and safety by ensuring a thorough understanding, competence, and application of safety requirements within the team.
What You’ll Need:
Experience developing and executing contracts within Oil & Gas projects with particular focus on Team Leadership, Stakeholder Relations, Compliance Assurance, Strategic Planning, Performance Management, Policy Development, Sustainable Procurement, Supplier Engagement, Risk Management.
