　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Under the direction of the Controller, the Assistant Controller is responsible for multiple Accounting Responsibilities for Riverside Healthcare Systems, LLC.

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　CPA preferred

　　Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance related field, Accounting preferred

　　3 to 5 years hospital accounting experience preferred.

　　3 to 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.

　　Financial analysis and managed care experience preferred.

　　Big four accounting or external/Internal audit experience preferred

　　Knowledge of various software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows. Knowledge of managed care databases a plus Must be decisive and have the ability to work independently within a dynamic and challenging environment

　　Familiarity with hospital financial systems and the implication of managed care

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills

　　Ability to complete tasks in an orderly and timely manner, prioritizing as necessary. Ability to maintain poise and exercise diplomacy in contact with customers and suppliers

　　Ability to supervise others

　　Riverside Community Hospital is a large acute care facility with 517 beds, established in 1901. It has the most extensive Emergency Room and Level I Trauma Center in the Inland Empire region and is the primary recipient of STEMI (heart attack) cases in Riverside County. The hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center and has a HeartCare Institute that offers both invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. Riverside has a Center of Excellence for Surgical Weight Loss and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which it is very proud of.
