Within Digital, the COO (Chief Operating Officer) team plays a critical role in driving the Digital transformation: we set and implement the overall BT Digital strategy and plans and we are the engine room driving the outcomes required for our customers. We work across multiple customer units (e.g. Consumer, BT Business divisions) covering needed updates to products, customer journeys, platforms, 3rd parties, strategic partners, IT architecture and innovation.
The Performance Insights team is part of COO, and is responsible for the performance management of the pan-BT Transformation, ensuring that our Digital strategy is at the heart of all delivery. Working with senior leaders, we provide data-driven insight to enable informed decision making and ensure we are successfully transforming the business. We have the opportunity to enable BT to step change its Transformation performance, not only in scale, but also in a sustainable way for our customers and other stakeholders. We put Digital at the heart of BT, by aligning the aims of our pan BT Transformation with the goals for Digital as a unit.
The Business Change Specialist executes a range of workstreams in delivering the design, development and implementation of policies, processes and working methods progressing the BT Group's change agility and capabilities
This role will be based at either London, Birmingham or Bristol with a hybrid working model of 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week working from home.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll define, embed, analyse and performance manage the operational and financial metrics that are required to deliver the Transformation
You will track and analyse performance in-life pan BT (including Digital), identifying key trends and improvement opportunities; and to work across Digital and BT to create plans to ensure our goals are delivered.
Work across the COO to implement automation and process improvements so we are able to deliver real-time performance data and insights
You will be able to take the data, analyse and pull together different data points to deliver insights in order to drive an improvement in the KPI performance
Your customers include your colleagues, so you’ll be collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders in to deliver world-class colleague and customer outcomes.
You'll have the following skills and experience
Using data to analyse drive transformation and business change
Performance management or analysis within a complex environment
Have experience delivering performance improvements or analysis in a complex business environment
Understand how operational and financial metrics can be used to determine business performance and drive change
Have experience of and/or use various Power BI tools and SQL
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver change
Strong problem-solving mindset and understanding of hypothesis-testing
Worked in a transformation / change environment where there may be ambiguity
