Description:

　　Our client is seeking a tenured Civil 3D Designer.

　　Responsible for working in Civil 3D full time preparing technical drawings of different land and infrastructures. These designs will create the blueprints for construction, which is the next phase of the project. Will be a mix of putting survey data into the software themselves and then turning it into a working drawing, adding construction layers, etc. and having the drafters/CAD Techs put that data into the software and then the designers picking up from there. Responsibilities also include some client interaction, creating reports and presentations, calculations of pipe slopes, utility areas, volume of pipe, etc.

　　Projects: Majority municipal projects for various cities throughout the Midwest (City of Chicago, St. Louis, Ann Arbor, Detroit, etc.), several round-abouts throughout Mount Pleasant and Detroit, working on M43 near Kalamazoo, pump station rehabilitation centers, developers, and some higher education work with UofM, MSU, etc. The hottest projects this person would work on right now would be for City of Detroit parking lots, and would be responsible for CAD design in Civil 3D of parking lots, pavements, drainage, and layouts of EV charging stations.

　　Qualifications:

　　3+ years in Civil Design

　　2 plus years of Civil 3D design experience

　　Bonus:

　　Bachelors or Associates in Civil Engineering

　　Municipal project experience

　　7 plus years of experience
