Job Description

　　Insight Global is looking for 5 Functional QAs to join one of Canada's largest retail and wellness companies. This person will be joining the Retail Engineering Services team that is focused on the testing for the new POS program implementation. This person will be required to be on site at the Burrard location conducting mostly manually testing on payment terminals as well as registers as well as a small amount of automation testing 5 days per week. The ideal candidate can expect to have daily stand up/spring calls in the morning which will line out the responsibilities for the day, followed by end of day sprint calls to discuss what was accomplished. The ideal candidate will need to be a strong communicator and be able to work independently as well as part of a team when required.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　* Has 5+ years experience as a Functional tester focused mainly on manual testing with minimal experience on automation testing of POS systems (point of sale)

　　* Has experience with Black Box testing

　　* Has basic knowledge on Java automation code and can understand end to end integration

　　* Has basic deployment experience focusing on docker and Jenkins

　　* Understands basic manual testing principles * Experience with Oracle Xstore

　　* Experience with Payment processing -- understanding how payments funnel through the POS system to the bank

　　* ISTQB Certification a huge plus

　　* Has previously tested on verifone payment systems

　　* Comes from a retail background null
