Kitchen and Center Support

　　Bring your cooking talents and kitchen management skills as a Cook at Bright Horizons . You’ll plan menus, prepare meals, and order inventory as you make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and staff.

　　Anticipated Hours: 7:45am - 2:45pm

　　As a Cook, you will:

　　Plan and prepare nutritionally balanced meals for children and staff.

　　Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and place orders as needed.

　　Manage all aspects of prepping and preparing meals, as well as cleaning and complying with sanitation requirements.

　　Working with another Child Care Teacher in the classroom, you will:

　　Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.

　　Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child’s day.

　　Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.

　　Requirements:

　　Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

　　At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required

　　Relevant experience working in a licensed child care center, public school, or commercial kitchen required

　　Food service/food handler permit or license (ServSafe)

　　Compensation Range: $13.50 - $15.00 / hr
