You will be empowered to develop Amazon's strategy. You will identify and develop new relationships with strategic vendor partners, while holding existing vendors accountable to key performance indicators You will work closely with other leaders across the Returns & ReCommerce teams to develop mechanisms to ensure the right products are routing to our donation and recycling partners as part of our effort to improve the circular economy and improve total net recovery. This role requires a strategic leader with program management, vendor management and financial acumen to establish long-term vendor partnerships and manage one of the world's largest donation and recycling programs!You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to drive a strong and diversified business, creating and strengthening partnerships with external vendors, and improving customer experience across channels.Key job responsibilities* Owns the Donation and Recycling strategy for Amazon products to provide a second life on the Amazon Warehouse marketplace.* Owns the Donation and Recycling business and financial performance, input, defect metrics.* Owns the service agreements and contracts with our vendor partners.* Expanding and managing the vendor network.* Making business decisions to reduce waste across the ReCommerce business.* Improving customer experience for vendor partners and Amazon operations.* Identifying industry trends and identifying the right vendor partners to support the strategic goals and objectives* Setting goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.* Representing Amazon when meeting with senior executive teams from top vendors and building long term strategic relationships.* Conducting Request for Proposal (RFP) or strategic negotiations on behalf of Amazon with our external vendors/buyers.* Represent your business with senior leadership at business reviews.* Work cross-functionally with Product Owners, Tech, Business, Finance and Operations partners* Resolving barriers and issues to improved recovery and customer experienceWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Bellevue, WA, USA- 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience- 7+ years of program or project management experience- 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 7+ years of working cross functionally across several teams experience- Bachelor's degree- Exp
