  Description

Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, innovative company? Come make history with Amazon’s legal department.

We are looking for a talented contracts manager to support our rapidly growing procurement, finance, and HR businesses. We are currently looking for someone who has the uncanny ability to always know where they are needed, who can identify and implement process improvements, can effectively manage contractor and vendor relationships and work cross-functionally with other teams. Your responsibilities will include: negotiation and documentation of a variety of third party contractual relationships, including main services agreements, license agreements, software and hosted services agreements, sponsorship agreements, work orders, terminations, amendments, and NDAs; working with the business to identify and mitigate contractual risks; developing and simplifying internal processes; and coordinating with clients and outside counsel. A successful candidate will have a strong transactional background and be hard-working, proactive, entrepreneurial and able to apply sound, pragmatic judgment in ambiguous situations.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Arlington, VA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA

  Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical and computer skills

  • Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor

  • In-house experience is a plus
