Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Fairfax, VA or Denver, CO)

　　Location : Fairfax, VA or Denver, CO (100% on-site)

　　Clearance : Minimum of an active Top Secret required, will be required to obtain an SCI before they start and a CI Poly down the line (if they don’t already have one)

　　Degree: High preference

　　Experience Level: Mid to Sr

　　Salary Range: $130K-$220K

　　Why these are needed:

　　Customer is basically doubling the number of users to the environment, help with eventual move from on-prem cloud to commercial cloud. These folks will help support/upgrade the current environment. The goal is to create continued automation to stand up reproducible, classified processing environments.

　　Must Haves:

　　AWS – ability to set up/stand up environments (Ex. EC2 instances) rapidly, managing various AWS services (Ex. Dynamo, Cloudwatch, etc).

　　Linux OS

　　Scripting – bash, python, etc.

　　High Preference:

　　Container orchestration – Kubernetes

　　Strong proficiency with different Linux system architectures and distributions; mainly with Amazon Linux and RHEL 9

　　Familiar with containers and managing containers inside Kubernetes pods

　　Experience creating, deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters

　　Ability to manage different projects/tasks in parallel

　　Ability to discuss technical tasks, ideas, and process with other team members and clients

　　Experience patching, working with vulnerability and compliance scans, and mitigating critical patches

　　Familiar with change management tools such as Puppet/Hiera

　　Familiar with CI/CD, maintaining code and containers such as Gitlab projects and runners, Harbor container management and container security scanning

　　Familiar utilizing Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform and Ansible including BASH and Python

　　Familiar working in Confluence and Jira

　　Maintain and upgrading clusters
