  Job Description

  AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to be based in San Diego, CA .

  This position is expected to begin in May 2024.

  The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.

  Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.

  Qualifications

  Minimum Requirements:

  Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.

  Candidates must have completed three years of study in their program.

  Preferred Qualifications:

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  Basic knowledge of CADD and industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD and MicroStation).

  Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.

  Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  Additional Information

  Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

  Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $24.04-33.05/hr.
