Description
The Sr. Global B2C Marketing Lead will be responsible for engaging Project Kuiper’s future consumer and SMB customer base. Fueling marketing funnel throughout the consumer journey, you will build a team of B2C marketers to plan, create, coordinate, and deliver marketing acquisition and product marketing plans that showcases Kuiper’s value proposition. This leader will be instrumental in collaborating with the Consumer Business Operations and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to develop interest list signups and convert them into subscribers. You will be integral to business needs and competitive insights as you work collaboratively with a variety of marketing teams (e.g., Insights, Digital, Brand & Creative, etc.) and others including Public Relations, Public Policy, Legal, Finance, etc.
You will execute performance, acquisition, and product marketing campaigns to engage our consumer and SMB audiences. You’ll define innovative, break-through marketing strategies across all channels – paid media, brand activations, lifecycle marketing, and partnerships – and in doing so, you’ll have the opportunity to proliferate the future of B2C marketing at Project Kuiper. The ideal candidate for this role has a unique ability to take a diverse, complex range of business inputs and verticals, and translate them into a clear vision and marketing strategy.

Key job responsibilities
• Define the holistic B2C marketing strategy for Kuiper, articulating target customer segments, customer insights, product positioning, and end-to-end roadmap to drive revenue growth
• Lead and manage the execution of integrated Amazon “Better Together” marketing strategy to deliver growth and engagement for Kuiper consumer and SMB verticals.
• Build integrated marketing strategy, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of plans, how we’ll execute and how activities will help drive the sales forecast
• Lead content strategy, partnering with creative and design teams to bring breakthrough creative and storytelling to market across our owned, earned and paid channels
• Collaborate with the Marketing Intelligence teams on analytics framework to drive marketing efficiency, ensuring leadership has a clear understanding of marketing ROI and incremental value
• Partner with product marketing team to develop messaging, value prop and competitive differentiation for all marketing campaigns
• Define goals for customer awareness, acquisition, and trial
• Plan, execute and measure strategic campaigns focused on engagement and lead generation, targeting specific products and services to specific categories of client.
• Partner with Brand, Marketing Ops, and Digital on Kuiper’s B2C media strategy.
• Seek out and partner with third-party tools to allow Project Kuiper to reach prospective customers in new and innovative ways.
• Collaborate with the Events and Conferences Lead on the consumer conference and activations calendar. Identify opportunities for representation at key conferences and events and build support materials for B2C event programs we host.
• Manage and mentor a future team of B2C global marketers.
• Role is global in nature – will work with teams that support a global presence. Build strong internal relationships and campaigns across Amazon.

The Sr. Global Marketing B2C Lead is a highly visible, high impact role on the Kuiper Marketing team. They will thrive by working with large, cross functional teams inside and outside of Amazon while working directly to acquire a potential global subscriber base. This marketer will enjoy creating clarity and transparency in ambiguous situations, and enjoy the end-to-end ownership over consumer marketing and product marketing narrative.

Basic Qualifications
BA/BS in marketing, business, communications, telecommunications.
Senior Marketing Leader 10+ years of experience
5+ experience in leadership role
10+ years of B2C Marketing experience
10+ years of marketing experience in a technology company - telecommunications, cellular mobility, high-speed internet, satellite communications, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
A Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree preferred
Ability to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects to strict deadlines
Confident, self-motivated individual with strong, demonstrable bias for action
Experience driving new business segment or services launches
Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
Experience developing and implementing external engagement programs.
Experience creating/driving customer call decks and other outward facing content to drive B2C customer engagement.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence teams and individuals; Ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups and effectively utilize resources and relationships to drive results
Experience running high-profile campaigns across a diverse range of channels, and within a rapidly evolving business environment – you have implemented game changing ideas that have changed the course of businesses and brands
Strong analytical thinker with proven ability to translate data into creative, results-oriented marketing strategies
Outstanding Communications: can partner, influence and thrive in a global matrixed organization with an ability to present to stakeholders with gravitas and confidence

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
