Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in ROCKVILLE CENTRE, New York. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and conducting bank reconciliations. You will also be tasked with ensuring all back office operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial records

• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy in financial documents

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in a timely manner

• Utilize Microsoft Excel effectively to maintain and monitor customer accounts

• Ensure all bookkeeping tasks are up to date and accurately reflect the company's financial status

• Carry out month-end close activities, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date

• Handle account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Conduct regular audits on financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency

• Utilize Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 to manage and report on financial data

• Manage payroll effectively, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experienced with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations

• Strong Bookkeeping skills

• Ability to perform accurate Data Entry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll processing

• Proficiency in Sage MAS 90 software

• Familiarity with Sage MAS 200 software
