A leading Oil and Gas field services provider and manufacturer has an opening for a Welder/Fabricator within their Brockway based Fabrication Shop.

　　Position Summary:

　　As a Welder/ Fabricator you will work under the direction of the Weld Shop Supervisor to ensure high quality fabrication and welding is done. Will weld, cut, grind, and fit to complete projects. Build projects for customers, both internal and external with the same attention to details. Exceed customer demands on production rates, quality, workmanship and deadlines.

　　Qualifications:

　　Post-secondary training in welding and fabrication, preferred. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.2-5 years experience, skilled in all welding processes and fabrication methodsFamiliar with GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes, in addition to plasma and oxy-acetylene cuttingExperience with carbon air arc, preferred.Be detail oriented and take pride in your workAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and supervisors.Must obtain and maintain all mandatory training and certificationsMay be required to operate a forklift and wheel loader.Specific Duties:

　　Follow proper SER/OHSA safety procedures and practices. Work in a safe manner around all equipmentFabricate steel assemblies to required tolerances from drawings or sketches, including accurate lay out and prep of the material and jointsEnsure a high quality level in all stages of manufacturing, especially finished productsPerform own visual inspection of assemblies to ensure the best product possibleEfficient use of all materials and consumables to minimize wasteAlways be looking for ways to improveTrack time and material used on projects to help with job costing analysisExercise proper care, understanding and maintenance of company equipmentPerform general housekeeping at the job site or in the shop; maintain a neat, safe and organized work areaPerform additional assignments per Supervisor's directionMay be required to perform duties of a Field Service LaborerBenefits and Compensation:
