　　Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for a Webasto Production System (WPS) Specilaist located at their Detroit Plant in Plymouth, MI.

　　If your heart beats for continuous improvement and a lean production system, then this position might be exactly right for you!Job Responsibilities* Defining relevant Operations KPIs* Conducting regular plant performance reviews, challenging plant and regions to improve through pareto comparison and best practice sharing* Driving and supporting the business in identifying, planning, and implementing organization process improvements to reduce costs, errors, rework* Leading and consolidating all ongoing activities within global Operations to achieve cost excellence* Developing and challenging the global strategies for Manufacturing Footprint, Launch Management Process* This job professionally and methodically contributes to the implementationof the Webasto Production System and its standards along parts of theprocess chain.* Additionally, it monitors and improves organizationalprocesses in the area of Operations with the aim of maximizing efficiency

　　Education and Experience* University degree in technical studies (industrial or mechanical engineering preferred)* Experience in a related field preferred, especially with continuous improvement methods and lean manufacturing* Thrive Kaizen and facilitate workshops
