Description

　　There is an opening for an Accounting Clerk through Robert Half's Full Time Engagement Program, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a permanent position located in the Honolulu, Hawaii area. 　　Key responsibilities

　　Rectify discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

　　Transmit financial information to journals and ledgers

　　Help Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

　　Organize documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

　　Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of a variety of sources

　　General accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

　　Work with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

　　Requirements - Ability to multitask effectively

　　Proven knowledge of journal entries

　　Command of Credit Card Reconciliation

　　Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Data entry experience

　　Credit Card Deposits experience highly desired

　　Microsoft Excel experience

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system
