  The Opportunity:

  As part of Teva’s “Pivot to Growth” strategy, global business development is a key pillar of the strategic framework for short-and long-term growth in the Innovative Medicines business.

  Global Business development encompasses the full spectrum of external opportunities as a critical growth engine with in-and out-licensing opportunities, strategic partnership opportunities, M&A for diversification, bolt-on, and/or inorganic growth opportunities, along with monetizing divestiture opportunities with non-core assets and non-core businesses.

  The newly created position, Vice President Head of Alliance Management for Innovative Medicines, reporting to Senior Vice President, Global Head of Business Development for Innovative Medicines, will oversee all internal functions driving and supporting the coordination and interactions with external partners, including decision-making and governance in the form of joint steering committees.

  Responsibilities:

  Responsible for the upfront design and the successful post-deal execution and compliance of deal terms and governance models with external partners.

  Serves as the “point person” for external partners in managing all of Teva’s activities, decisions, and resource allocation in compliance with the deal terms and obligations related to innovative medicines.

  Leads as the “accountable person” for all internal stakeholder management and coordination with all teams and functions for driving and successfully delivering on the objectives and the aims of each of the external collaborations and partnerships.Your Experience:

  The ideal candidate profile will be a seasoned executive who has managed complex and dynamic partnership relationships across geographies, across business divisions, and across functional areas. They are a natural ambassador and a consummate “bridge builder” with external partners. They are also savvy and sophisticated with stakeholder management with internal leaders and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also likely come from a current role with equivalent responsibilities in a global big pharma or a big biotech and has a demonstrated track record of managing creative partnership operating models and structures.

  The Head of Alliance Management for Innovative Medicines will possess a global mindset and a strong ability to collaborate and operate with diverse teams and leadership across geographies and cultures.

  The sucessful candidate will be pragmatic and operationally savvy. They will bring a sense of urgency in the ability to identify, evaluate, and seize opportunities, leveraging their expertise in a dynamic and competitive market environment. This VP is someone who naturally excels in a complex, challenging, highly entrepreneurial environment and can quickly identify the optimal path to corporate value creation. They will be hands-on with a lean team to drive execution, ready to pivot and change course when necessary to reach the best outcome.

  For operational efficiency and effectiveness with global teams located in Israel and Europe, the target geographic location for this role is the Eastern corridor in the US, ideally in Boston or New Jersey for the ease of access to Teva’s physical offices.
