Description The Veterans Coordinator performs avariety of tasks related client services including: managing residentintake paperwork, scheduling and administering of UA, room checks andmanaging screening of residents entering the building, cleaning ofvacated rooms, light maintenance tasks, working with clinical team toaddress safety concerns and client behaviors, and performs other dutiesas assigned. This is a full-time, benefits eligible opportunity. Hoursare anticipated to be general business hours, 9am-5pm, but may requiresome flexibility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list ofduties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded toinclude other duties and responsibilities as management may deemnecessary. Serves as a representative of the agency and theproperties/programs to internal and external customers. Performsscreening of residents entering building including breathalyzers, UAsand bag checks. Schedules random UAs, bed checks and coordinatesimplementation with security staff. Works with Clinical team tocoordinate monthly room checks and works with residents to correctnoncompliance issues. Manage veteran activities including: FacilitateVeteran Wellness Committee Lead/participate in morning meeting Assignchores and teach/coach/monitor participants re completion of chores Leadparticipants in work groups for special projects at the facility (e.g.,cleaning rooms prior to new admissions moving in) In coordination withcase manager/clinician: Teach/coach/monitor participants as neededregarding independent living skills such as laundry, personal hygiene,housekeeping, etc. Assist participants with their daily schedule (forexample, for those who need help getting up for the morning meeting,getting to groups, etc.) Intervene/assist with interpersonaldifficulties inherent in a communal living situation...
