　　Are you ready to build progress with us?

　　The Utility Operator safely and efficiently performs a variety of tasks and equipment operation to assist the needs of the facility. This is an entry level position, but an amazing starting point for a long career in the industry leader of concrete and asphalt. The payrate for this role is projected at $23.86-26.51 per hour, and is currently categorized as a temporary position. Holcim temporary roles can be up to six (6) months long, and duration can be ended before that dictated by needs of the Company.

　　Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas

　　Practice and promote safety in such a way as including but not limited to:

　　Assessing risks before starting tasks

　　Only performing authorized activities

　　Utilizing appropriate PPE

　　Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to:

　　Professional development of self

　　Coaching others by inspiration and empowerment

　　Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.

　　Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment

　　Perform unloading functions

　　Assist with general mechanical maintenance

　　Promotes Holcim U.S. Safety guidelines and standards, ensuring that safety and compliance requirements are met and always followed

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Required Education:

　　High School diploma/GED

　　The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree in a mechanical, electrical or a related field.

　　Required Work Experience:

　　1-3 years.Additional Requirements:

　　Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

　　Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance background

　　Welding experience is an asset

　　Autonomous; meticulous; exercises good judgment

　　Ability to work well on their own and in a team environment

　　Experience in the operation of heavy equipment

　　The candidate must be flexible regarding his/her work schedule.

　　Strong candidates will additionally possess:

　　Skid Steer experience

　　Vac Truck skillset.

　　Holcim US Specific:
