  Training and Development Specialist (71101)Location: Brooklyn, NYDescription:Are you passionate about inspiring growth and development in others? We are seeking a Training and Development Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating exciting training programs for our staff and faculty. Your role will extend to exploring innovative ways of instruction, managing multimedia training platforms, and evaluating program effectiveness. If you are a creative thinker, a great communicator, and have at least three years of training experience, we want to hear from you! Take the next step in your career with us and be a key player in shaping the learning culture of our organization.Duties/Responsibilities:Collaborate with experts to assess and address individual training needs through effective communication.Utilize diverse learning methods, including manuals and videos, to enhance and maintain staff's job skills.Develop and deliver personalized training programs tailored to fulfill specific staff needs.Manage training content for the Institute's technology platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging learning experience.Respond to training inquiries promptly and actively gather and integrate feedback for continuous improvement of programs.Qualifications:EducationBachelors degree is required, preferably in Human Resources, Communications, Education, Organizational Development or other related fields.At least three years of training and development experience is required.Prefer experience with personality assessments. SHRM-CP or APTD certification preferred.Required Skills/Abilities:Communication and Presentation SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong presentation skills.Technical Proficiency and Project ManagementStrong technical and project management skills.Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.Initiative and InnovationSelf-starter and innovative thinker who takes the initiative with training programs.Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.Training Design and Organizational DevelopmentAbility to design and implement effective training and development.Familiarity with organizational development concepts and tools/instruments.Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and related program software.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Prolonged periods of standing during training events.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Salary:<span style="color:
