Description:
Candidates will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection on all kits produced. Perform receiving inspection on any air shipments that are delivered to the facility.
A big portion of the role too would be 1st article inspection for their bulk cable and components, cable assemblies and cable kits.
Other responsibilities:
Perform receiving inspection of all different products verifying necessary paperwork and quantities to ensure they meet the Angelus requirements.
Perform incoming inspection of all different cable types including Coaxial, Triaxial, Databus, & Ethernet, type cables using the Angelus specification as a guideline.
Perform incoming inspection of coaxial connectors (bodies, contacts, & ferrules) to ensure they meet the Angelus requirements & Vendor specification.
Perform incoming inspection on any other parts received from a vendor ensuring the part meets the vendor specification.
Initiate and maintain paperwork in performing the FII process (as required) on incoming products.
Inspect kits that were packaged by Manufacturing personnel to ensure accuracy & quantity of the items required per the product specification.
Processing any Non-Conforming product, along with acquiring a Corrective action if required.
Process any RMA (Return Material Authorization) from the customer.
Perform FAI’s (First Article Inspections) as required.
Perform final inspection (using the Angelus drawing and/or customer drawing/requirements) on all assemblies manufactured by the Assembly Dept.
Maintain existing Work Instructions & Process Maps as required, along with creating new instructions that are required from a process improvement

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 4+ years experience in Quality Inspection
Minimum 2+ years using Microsoft Excel for quality documentation -populating tables
Minimum 3+ years experience using calipers, micrometers, and rulers, optimal comparative experience would be a plus.
