  About the role

  The Total Rewards head will be responsible for leading the strategy development, management and execution of compensation, benefits, and wellness programs for India & Philippines. The role will be required to deliver a comprehensive program that attracts and retains talent, promotes employee engagement, and aligns with company values, while effectively mitigating risk and managing costs. The Scope will include Risk and control management and ensure the function in the region demonstrates strong escalation and issue resolution capabilities.

  Job Responsibilities Develop and deliver on long term vision and strategy for the compensation and benefit functions in the region. Bring thought leadership to the function regionally and globally to partner with HR and business leaders to deliver on the priorities.Manage and develop a team of managers and professional individual contributors to ensure effective design and delivery of compensation, benefits, and wellness programs across the regions.Oversee the execution, program implementations, communication and administration of compensation, benefits, and wellness programs, ensuring adherence to related local country laws and regulations and overall Wells Fargo business strategy.Lead regional consulting activity with HR and business leaders on all aspects of total rewards focusing on market competitive, cost effective and compliant programs and procedures.Oversee management of applicable regional policy and procedure development, controls, administration and record-keeping activities including to publish and maintain all total rewards related metrics and dashboards.Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development.Develop, interpret, and manage policies, procedures and associated processes for total rewards, including risk and control initiatives. Ensure associated COEs partners and teams are trained and educated on relevant and required process.Engage, collaborate, and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers to ensure effectiveness of enterprise-wide total rewards strategy.Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Total RewardsQualifications & skills required: Experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationManagement experience of minimum of 8 yrs and preferably 15+ yrs of total work experienceStrategic thinking and good business judgment.Knowledge and understanding of compensation and benefits strategies for highly complex business groups.Highly effective consultative leader with credibility through demonstrating strong business and data driven acumen, passion for customer service and operational excellence.Demonstrated skills in influencing and navigating across a complex, highly matrixed global organization with a collaborative mindsetVirtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment.Strong communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts.Proactive control and risk management, addressing gaps in processes and escalating issues to benefit the business and clients in a dynamic environment.Leadership Expectations at Wells FargoAs a manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business.
