  Job Description

  Under a comprehensive enterprise-wide Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) strategy, the Electronic Systems Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Lead will oversee the business' plans to attract, retain, develop and advance a diverse workforce, enable equitable practices and cultivate an inclusive workplace culture.

  Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Managment this role serves as a consultant, trusted advisor and strategic partner to business and HR leaders, guiding execution of actions and embedment of DEI within all facets of the business to enable growth and better performance.

  This position is a hybrid role based at any of our major Electronic Systems locations: Nashua, NH (and surrounding area); Manassas, VA; Greenlawn, NY; Wayne, NJ; Cedar Rapids, IA; Huntsville, AL; Austin, TX; Fort Wayne, IN; San Diego, CA. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

  Primary Responsibilities

  Develop and oversee execution of sector-specific strategic plans in support of enterprise-wide DEI strategy, objectives and Employer of Choice goals.Serve as expert consultant, trusted advisor and strategic partner to key stakeholders, including senior business and HR leaders, HR business partners, Sector DEI Councils/Committees, VITAL Alum, and Employee Resource Group (ERG) leaders.Leverage data, analytics and insights to report progress, identify opportunities, prioritize actions and measure outcomes of DEI efforts..

  Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  Lead and/or partner with HR and business leaders to determine sector-specific inclusive development needs and to strategically identify talent for inclusive development programs and opportunities and career support offerings (i.e. mentoring, coaching, sponsorship, Diversity Partner Conferences, ERG leadership)Consult on efforts to embed equity and inclusion within all talent-related processes and practices across the employee lifecycle (attraction, recruitment, compensation, onboarding, development, rewards/recognition, performance management, talent management, promotion, exit surveys, etc.)Lead and/or partner with HR and business leaders to determine sector-specific DEI learning needs and to strategically identify participants; oversee planning and execution and/or facilitation of sector-specific sessions; partner with Inc. to measure outcomes of learning efforts.Intentionally guide, support and leverage leaders and allies to drive execution of strategic DEI plans and culture change efforts (Councils/Committees, VITAL alum, ERGs, etc.)Partner with HR and business leaders to raise awareness about inclusive well-being practices and provide support with respect to embedding them within team norms.Lead and/or partner with HR and business leaders to determine sector-specific needs related to new external strategic partners for talent sourcing and diverse pipeline development; identify underrepresented talent to highlight for speaking opportunities, awards and recognition, etc., associated with external diversity partner events/conferences.Lead and/or partner with HR and business leaders to determine sector-specific targets for annual diversity, equity and inclusion objectives.Lead efforts to operationalize and measure sector-specific progress towards discreet components of the annual Inclusive Leader Goal for all people managers.Lead and/or partner with HR and business leaders on various efforts to collect sector-specific feedback and measure progress towards DEI goals, including through the Inclusion Index Survey -- communicating results, identifying opportunities, and recommending actions to close gaps.

  Pay Information

  Full-Time Salary Range: $124400 - $211500

  Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
