  Responsibilities

  Description of duties and responsibilities:Technical Sales Support•    Communicate directly with customers concerning technical systems information, product knowledge, and product/systems applications.•    Manage the preparation of complete product/system quotation bid packages for made-to-order items, ensuring commercial and technical specification compliance, product pricing, scheduling needs, and vendor data requirements are addressed. Facilitate follow up to resolve major concerns and support business requirements.•    Enact changes to document/specification templates and price quotes based on changes.•    Interface with engineering department for completion certificates and customers concerning product performance issues and troubleshooting.•    Partner with functional groups to facilitate completion of unique business requirements. Manage requirements and tasks via Issue Tracking Database.Support Field Sales Initiatives•    Derive creative, cost-effective product solutions for our customers.•    Provide customers with both technical and application information.•    Become familiar with and remain proficient on all product lines within the Bacharach product group and serve as product expert or resource.•    Become familiar with and remain proficient on the features and benefits of Bacharach products as well as those of competitors to leverage competitive differences to gain sales advantage.•    Conduct training sessions for customers, channel partners and manufacturer representatives by using tools such as web casts, toolbox presentations in the assigned region.•    Provide high-level sales support to the field sales force and reps by visiting designated accounts.•    Facilitate follow up to resolve major concerns and support business requirements.•    Regular communications with Bacharach Field Sales Managers and key rep personnel.Inside Sales and Support•    Manage incoming leads.•    Provide and coordinate pricing information with Marketing for Bacharach key accounts.•    Assist sales personnel in growing MSA market share for Bacharach products and services. Support, drive and monitor key sales opportunities with reps and end-users. Communicate sales opportunities to sales personnel and channel partners. Track and monitor opportunities via CRM tools.Team Management•    Develop Operational goals aligned with department and business needs, driving accountability.•    Support and lead continuous improvement efforts.•    Focus on career development or interpersonal, relationship and leadership skills for self and team.•    Proactively encourage and assist employees with skill and career development, create compelling development plans to ensure alignment with business needs, career goals, and long-term succession plans.

  Qualifications

  Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:•    Proven experience in deriving creative, cost-effective technical product solutions for customer base.•    Strong communication (including written and verbal technical and non-technical), interpersonal and management skills.•    Demonstrated selling and technical skills with end users•    Proven ability to organize an present product and demonstrations to large groups.•    Demonstrated ability to create training curriculum for technical products and facilitate training to end users and support personnel.•    Proven ability to lead team to meet or exceed designated sales targets and metrics, profitability goals.•    Familiarity with market or sales specialization (HVAC-R), industrial instrumentation or related products & applications in the industrial market.Education and experience required:•    Bachelor's Degree in related discipline. Four years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.•    This position is available at three different career levels based upon experience, education, etc.:o    5 years technical sales, engineering, customer service (technical support) or related experienceo    7 years technical sales, engineering, customer service (technical support) or related experience & 1 year leadership/supervisory experienceo    9 years technical sales, engineering, customer service (technical support) or related experience & 2 years leadership/supervisor experienceo    (MS Degree may be substituted for up to 2 years relevant experience)#LI-EE1#HYBRID
