Description

As a Tax Accountant, your main responsibility will be preparing, reviewing, and submitting various types of tax returns such as 1040's, S-corporations, and C-corporations. You will ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and provide clients with tax planning and advisory services. Using your expertise and understanding of tax laws, you will offer guidance to clients to help minimize liabilities and maximize benefits. A significant aspect of your role will be to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations. You'll effectively address clients' tax-related inquiries and collaborate with the CPA team to support tax compliance and reporting. Requirements • Proficiency in Tax Preparation and Tax Preparer duties

• Knowledge and experience working with S-Corps and C Corp

• Familiarity with E1040 tax forms

• Proficient with Lacerte Tax Software

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Excellent time management skills to handle tax season workload

• Ability to maintain client confidentiality

• Strong communication skills to explain tax details to clients

• Ability to stay updated with changing tax laws and regulations

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification preferred

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
