Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Part-time Bookkeeper in Denver, Colorado. As a vital member of our team, you will be working remotely and be tasked with maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This role involves working closely with our team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments. The position will be for about 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Work closely with the team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance.

• Process accounts payable and receivable.

• Manage invoices and tax payments.

• Reconcile bank statements.

• Participate in the month-end close processes.

• Conduct account reconciliation activities.

• Perform data entry tasks.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial reporting tasks.

• Manage payroll activities.

Requirements • Proficient in account reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiar with bank reconciliation procedures

• Prior bookkeeping experience

• Strong data entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in month-end close procedures

• Knowledge in payroll processes
