Description Robert Half is in need of a Tax Preparer for a firm in the Staten Island, New York. Capable applicants will be detail-oriented and have a deadline-driven attitude. The the preparation of simple and complex, individual and small business State and Federal tax returns, will rely on the Tax Preparer. This contract / temporary position is for a short-term duration. 　　Your responsibilities

　　Figure and invoice for form preparation fees

　　Manually put together transaction tax returns utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

　　Carry out other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

　　Respond to incoming client calls to facilitate tax questions and set appointments

　　Administer relevant data into Tax software application

　　Stay up to date with clients to gather significant information/documents Requirements - Comprehensive knowledge of Lacerte Tax Software

　　Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

　　Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

　　Capable of working independently with minimal oversight

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

　　Strong communication and social skills

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
