Actalent is hiring a Medical Assistant for a practice in Arlington Heights.
Description:
Scheduling patients for visits
Rooming patients
Ability to work with Oncology patients
Taking patient's vitals and documenting it into an EMR system. They use Centricity
Cleaning up treatment area after a patient's visit and wiping down the area after they leave
Checking inventory for Oxygen tanks, food supply, and medical equipment to be ordered
Phone calls to patients for follow ups
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
Oncology patient experience from previous CMA position or through phlebotomy
Experience working through difficult patients/situations
A certification in phlebotomy or Medical Assisting
Ability to handle high patient volumes
A go getter attitude and a willingness to help others
