This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. These pillars form the foundation of our company-wide commitment to sustainability, helping us achieve our ambitious goals through our wide-ranging initiatives.How You'll Perform the RoleThis position is responsible for planning/ordering material to support production, drive responsive supplier performance, process and service improvements, and productivity improvements throughout the supply chain.Work with master scheduling/demand planners and operations to ensure raw materials are available to meet manufacturing's needs.Manage day to day purchasing and raw material planning activities.Resolves discrepancies and issues in invoices and purchase ordersUtilize approved alternate suppliers to minimize cost and increase profitabilityEnsure inventory, raw material in stock percentage, and plant communication/support goals to maximize production and working capital for assigned responsibilitiesResponsible for communication between operations, sales, customer service, quoting and suppliers to ensure that adequate raw material is received, and proper information is obtained.Manage multiple tasks with varying timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Supplier ownership/relationship management.Manage inbound raw material flows with transportation partnersComplete month end activities to support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.Ability to support/lead cross functional improvement projects driving increased profitabilitySupport New Product Introduction (NPI) trials and item master data set-ups.What We Need From YouBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, required3-5+ years of relevant experience in purchasing, planning, and supplier managementExcellent communication, leadership, project management and relationship building skillsStrong analytical, business process analysis and problem-solving capabilitiesBe highly "process driven" and continuously improve the supply chain buying/planning.Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.High motivation and results-oriented work ethicAdaptability-able to work in a fast-paced environment.Willing to travel as needed (less than 10%)Proficiency in analytical tools and databases, including MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and ERP systems including Microsoft AX, BAAN, PRMS, SAP, Rapid ResponseWhat You'll Get From Us
